Candidate Faculty and FCC100: Faculty member are unsure of a current process, or are having issues logging in.

Candidate Faculty are new faculty going through the onboarding process.

The first class that they take is FCC100, where they learn the intricacies of teaching at CSU-Global. These include our student and faculty policies, as well as becoming familiar with the features and workflows of the technology that they’ll use in their online classrooms.

  Issues with logging in

Their faculty gmail account is the same login that they’ll use to login to their faculty portal. Their email should follow the standard: firstname.lastname@csuglobal.edu You can confirm this by searching the faculty members first and last name in your version of the CSU-Global Portal > White Pages > Faculty Lookup.

The accounts initial password is always: HelloWorld!

You can also use the CSU-Global Portal > White Pages > Faculty Lookup option to reset the password to: HelloWorld!

 Issues accessing FCC100 / Schoology

Faculty do NOT login directly to  They must first login to their faculty portal, then click the grey Login to Schoology button located in the main column, near the top right of their portal. Once in  direct them to click the Courses button in the top menu bar. Then, from the drop down menu, direct them to click the name that begins with Applicant Onboarding.

Anything else, Escalate.
