FAQ - Email

I want to setup my Gmail on other devices.

  1. Enable POP/IMAP for CSU Email account under Gmail Settings (Forwarding POP/IMAP tab)

NOTE: For Office 365–2 Step Verification is required, and this is currently turned off for CSU-Global Email Accounts. You will not be able to connect to Office 365 with a CSU-Global Account with these instructions and should instead forward your email to your other account.

  1. Fill in the required fields for incoming/outgoing server:

If all settings have above have been verified and the user still receives an error, you may be required to allow less secure apps to access the account. This can be done here, https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps.

  1. If all the above has been done, and it still doesn’t work there is nothing else we can They will have to use the Gmail web client.
